The LIFE Picture Collection Sponsored by Getty Images, this online collection makes available a portion of the close to one million images from Life Magazine and other sources documenting American life and events in the 20th century.
Magnum Photos Magnum, founded in 1947, is a highly selective cooperative of photographers that manages the licensing and sales of the works of its members. Some of its vast collections can be browsed online, but be aware that everything is under copyright.
