Library books & paper journals are organized by subject and assigned a call number, found on the spine of the book. It usually looks like AA .B01 C02 2015. The first two letters are the subject and the last number will always be the year published.
Biology books and journals are found under QD on the basement floor (beige carpet). Some other call numbers of interest start with: QH (Biology), R (Medicine), RS (Pharmacology), & S (Agriculture, Aquaculture, & Forestry).

You can look up the properties of chemicals in both reference books at the library or online resources. Remember to note down the PubChem CID or the CAS Registry Number to more easily find the exact chemical again.
The following books can be found on the main floor (grey carpet) of the library and cannot be removed from the library. Photocopy, scan, or photograph any pages you need to refer to later.
