Welcome to the Mount Allison University Libraries and Archives: Library Research Workshops

Need help with your research?  Not sure what a peer-reviewed article is?

Want hot tips on which library databases to use when searching for scholarly journals?

Librarians are offering research workshops designed to help you find the resources you need to complete your class projects and assignments:

Monday, February 13, 7:00 p.m. -7:50 p.m.

Tuesday, February 14, 10:00 a.m.-10:50 a.m.

Thursday, February 16, 3:00 p.m. - 3:50 p.m.

3rd-floor Computer Lab, R.P. Bell Library

The 50-minute sessions cover the following:

  • How to start your research
  • How to find copies of articles you need
  • How to find the best books and articles for your assignments
  • How to know which resources to use for your research topic

And more! We answer questions and share tips about our website and how to get personal research help.

If there are special topics you’d like to see covered, let us know. We’ll do our best to bring answers.
