The Libraries have opened on February 9 at the Orange Level of recovery. This means that we are able to lift the some of the additional restrictions that were in place around food and drink and the group study rooms.
The following is a summary of Orange Level recovery in-library restrictions:
Drinks and study snacks are permitted while seated and socially distanced from others.
Masks must always be worn in the library’s public and bookable spaces. The only exception is while taking a drink or eating.
The 2 meter physical distancing requirement must be followed at all times, even in the group study rooms.
Group study room maximum occupancy levels are posted at the entrances.
Chairs in the bookable seating areas must not be moved to other locations or shifted in a manner that does not conform to the 2 meter physical distancing requirement.
Library users must clean their study spaces with the cleaning wipes provided at the entrance to each seating area.
Book stacks are open to staff only.
