On July 15, the Libraries & Archives will launch a new library catalogue, a new Journal Finder, and a new “single search” discovery tool that will make it possible to search the library catalogue and across most library databases at the same time.
As part of our migration to this new system, some library services will be unavailable from July 9 through July 14. These services include:
You will still be able to search the library catalogue. You will be able to check out and return items at the circulation desk. For renewals, you can contact the circulation desk by phone (364-2568) or e-mail, or visit us in person. You will be able to place interlibrary loan requests by e-mail or in person. Access to databases will not be affected.
All services should be restored on July 15, when we launch our new system through Novanet. For more information on the new library catalogue, see http://libraryguides.mta.ca/blog.
If you have any questions or problems, please e-mail circ@mta.ca.
