Love Data Week 2025

by Elizabeth Stregger on 2025-02-05T13:41:00-04:00 in Data | 0 Comments

In honor of ICPSR's International Love Data Week 2025, which has the theme of “Whose Data Is It, Anyway”, you can register for online presentations open to everyone and aimed at giving you insights into varied aspects of working with data. Whether you own your data, or work with data owned by others, you may very well find the right tool or approach that you need during a Love Data Week event.

Taking place from February 10-14, presentations include:

  • Reproducible Scientific Writing in R
  • Data Cleaning in (early) 2025: Feasibility of AI tools
  • Learn to use Google to find data like an expert in less than 30 minutes!
  • Find publicly available data in data portals in less than 30 minutes!
  • To Love Data is to Licence Data, a Primer on the Relationship between Copyright and Data
  • You’re the data. You’re everywhere. You don’t own it.

To register for these (free) online sessions presented by libraries and other organizations in Atlantic Canada, check out the Love Data Week Research Guide. You will find registration links with more information in the Events section.
