Mount Allison Research Resources

LimeSurvey

LimeSurvey is available to Mount Allison faculty, staff, and students for survey-based research. Request an account from the Educational Technology Consultant (Computing Services Department). CSD has prepared a series of LimeSurvey screencasts.

Data collected using Mount Allison's licensed accounts for LimeSurvey is stored on Mount Allison servers at the University of New Brunswick. If you use LimeSurvey as your survey software, include a statement such as "participant data is stored on servers at the University of New Brunswick in Canada" in your data management plan.

OneDrive and SharePoint

OneDrive and SharePoint can be used as secure cloud storage for active datasets. To learn more about OneDrive and SharePoint features, visit the CSD pages on Gateway.

Mount Allison's M365 applications and data (including OneDrive and SharePoint) are hosted by Microsoft at their Canadian data centres in Toronto and Quebec City. Microsoft has redundancies between the two data centres.

R and RStudio

R and RStudio are open source tools for data analysis. They are also installed on public computers in the library and on laptops that can be borrowed from the library.

SPSS

SPSS is installed on public computers in the library. It is also installed on laptops that can be borrowed from the library.

Presentations

Recordings of presentations are available in the Faculty Team.
