"Research data management (RDM) refers to the processes applied through the lifecycle of a research project to guide the collection, documentation, storage, sharing and preservation of research data."
-Tri-Agency Research Data Management Policy - Frequently Asked Questions
The Tri-Agency Research Data Management (RDM) Policy was created by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
Institutions that administer CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC funds must have an institutional RDM strategy that outlines RDM support for researchers. Mount Allison's Research Data Management Institutional Strategy is under development and will be published by March 1, 2023.
Librarians are available to meet with you in person, by phone, or online.
