Welcome to the Alfred Whitehead Music Library!

Music Library Hours

Music Library special hours for Sunday, September 24 will be:  12:00 noon - 2:55 pm & 5:00 - 7:50 pm.  The Music Library will be CLOSED during the Sackville Early Music Festival concert taking place that afternoon. 

NORMAL FALL TERM HOURS:

Monday - Thursday:

10:20 am - 8:50 pm

(closed Wednesdays 4:00-5:00 pm for Music Collegium/Colloquium)

Friday:

9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Saturday:

11:10 am - 4:50 pm

Sunday:

2:10 - 7:50 pm

This schedule is subject to change. In particular, the Music Library may be closed during some Music Department concerts. Schedule changes will be posted here.

University Archives Hours

Open By Appointment

The Mount Allison University Archives are open by appointment only.

To make an appointment, either e-mail archives @ mta.ca or telephone the Archives (506-364-2563) and leave a voice message. Staff will then contact you to arrange for an appointment.

R.P. Bell (Main) Library Hours

Fall Term Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Sunday: 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. (circulation desk opens at 1 p.m.)

Extended late-night hours hours will begin in October.

Research Help Desk Hours, Fall 2017

Librarians will gladly answer your questions and work with you to find the information you need.

Mondays: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and  7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Tuesdays: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Wednesdays: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Fridays: noon - 4 p.m.
Saturdays: ------
Sundays: 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

There are many other ways to reach us both during and outside of Research Help Desk hours: in person, by phone and email, and by using our Chat Reference Service.  Please see the Ask a Librarian page for details.

The Flying Bean Café

The Flying Bean Café, located on the main floor of the R.P. Bell Library, has a selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, snacks, teas, juices, soft drinks and Just Us! coffees.
