About the Libraries: Hours

The Mount Allison University Libraries and Archives include the Ralph Pickard Bell Library (Main Library), the Alfred Whitehead Music Library, and the University Archives.

R.P. Bell (Main) Library Hours

March 30, 2021 until further notice: The Libraries & Archives is once again open to patrons.

Monday - Friday : 8:10 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.








Virtual Research Help Desk Hours, April 12 - 23

Ask questions and get help with your research by phone, email or Live Chat.  

Monday:  11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday & Wednesday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Thursday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 12:00 pm - 4:00 p.m.

The Flying Bean Café

The Flying Bean, located on the main floor of the R.P. Bell Library, is reopening its doors beginning Monday, March 1st, 2021. Its hours of operation will be:

Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: CLOSED

The Bean is run by Mount Allison's Dining Services.


Music Library Hours

March 30, 2021: The Music Library is once again open to patrons. Please remember to book a seat.

Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Open By Appointment

The Mount Allison University Archives are open by appointment only.

To make an appointment, either e-mail archives @ or telephone the Archives (506-364-2563) and leave a voice message. Staff will then contact you to arrange for an appointment.
