Places to Study

MtA Libraries have several different areas for studying, including silent areas, quiet zones, and collaborative spaces, some are bookable. See Study Spaces for more information and how to book

Library Events 

Library hosted and other events are often held in the libraries spaces, including author talks, student society events, presentations, and workshops

Library Theatre

  •  Main Library Floor 3 (316)
  • Has a computer console, projection screen, and sound, with theatre-style row seating for 60 people

Library Instruction Lab

  •  Main Library Floor 3 (314)
  • Room is available for students to use when it is not used for classes

The Flying Bean Café

The Flying Bean, located on the main floor of the R.P. Bell (Main) Library, has a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, soups, snacks, teas, juices, soft drinks, and Just Us! fair trade coffee

The Bean is run by Mount Allison's Dining Services  See Dining Services  for the hours of operation

Lost & Found

Lost something in the Libraries? Check at the Access Services desk 

  • Items are kept until the end of the semester
